NFL Week 17 Results

This Sunday’s NFL regular season events filled all spots for the upcoming playoff festivities. The New York Jets earned their way in after a decisive win over the Cincinnati Bengals, setting the stage for a rematch this Saturday, January 9th. The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys are also scheduled for back to back games, following the Cowboys 24-0 campaign yesterday afternoon to claim the NFC East title.

The New England Patriots will next play host to the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday at Gillette stadium for their opening post-season contest. The fourth and final matchup next week will feature the Arizona Cardinals and Green Bay Packers. The New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings, San Diego Chargers and Indianapolis Colts will rest and look forward to the Divisional round two weeks from now. Check all week 17 NFL Results below.

Buffalo Bills 30, Indianapolis Colts 7 – The Bills dominated from both ends of the field as the league leading Colts packed it in to lose their second straight contest.

Cleveland Browns 23, Jacksonville Jaguars 17 – The 5-11 Browns finished the year strong, holding off the Jags to win their last four of five.

Chicago Bears 37, Detroit Lions 23 – Chicago came up with 17 bonus points in the fourth quarter to close out their season with pride.

San Francisco 49ers 28, St Louis Rams 6 – The 49ers scored all 28 points in the second half while holding the Rams to just two field goals.

Pittsburgh Steelers 30, Miami Dolphins 24 – Ben Roethlisberger led his team with 220 yards passing and three TD’s, but it wasn’t enough for the Super Bowl champs to advance this year.

Minnesota Vikings 44, New York Giants 7 – Brett Favre completed 25 passes for 316 yards and four TD’s.

Atlanta Falcons 20, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 10 – The Falcons scored 10 in the final block to post another successful winning season.

Carolina Panthers 23, New Orleans Saints 10 – RB Jonathan Stewart rushed for 125 yards and one TD from 16 total carries.

Houston Texans 34, New England Patriots 27 – Houston was able to rally past the Patriots but fell short of reaching any playoff goals.

Dallas Cowboys 24, Philadelphia Eagles 0 – Tony Romo hit his receivers with 24 passes for 311 yards and two TD’s.

Kansas City Chiefs 44, Denver Broncos 24 – Denver lost any chance to advance after surrendering 44 points to the 4-12 Chiefs.

Baltimore Ravens 21, Oakland Raiders 13 – Willis McGahee ran for three TD’s to help his squad claim the remaining playoff spot in the AFC.

Green Bay Packers 33, Arizona Cardinals 7 – The Packers posted 25 points in the first half while shutting down the Cardinals offense through the first three quarters.

San Diego Chargers 23, Washington Redskins 20 – Backup QB Billy Volek hit FB Mike Tolbert with a two-yard TD pass for the Chargers to earn their 11th straight victory.

Tennessee Titans 17, Seattle Seahawks 13 – Chris Johnson wrapped his season with 2,006 rushing yards and the winning TD, moving the Titans to a respectable 8-8 record.

New York Jets 37, Cincinnati Bengals 0 – The Bengals rested their starters as the Jets capitalized to live another day.
