Colts, Jets Set for Rematch

The Indianapolis Colts are scheduled to host the AFC Championship game against the New York Jets at Lucas Oil Stadium this Sunday. The Jets won in their last contest 29-15 in Week 16. Rex Ryan believed in his team and so far they have responded, but Peyton Manning and Co. are  certainly ready to challenge their defense in all four quarters this time around.

“I just think it’s one of those things where you try to play your best this time of the year,” said Dallas Clark. “We’ve been able to have some good games for whatever reason, certain coverage’s, certain breakdowns. I think it’s been our team philosophy of just really trying to be a little sharper.”

The home team has claimed victory in the past three AFC Championship events. The Jets will be forced to rely heavily on their running game and #1 defense to stop the top ranked Colts on their own turf. New York has certainly showed us through their previous two games against Cincinnati and San Diego that nothing is guaranteed when competing in the NFL Playoffs.
