Katy Perry Sets U.S. California Dreams Tour Dates

Pop sensation Katy Perry just recently unveiled all U.S. concert dates for her upcoming 2011 California Dreams world tour. After touring extensively in Portugal, Europe, Britain, Australia and Japan, Perry’s North American run will kick off June 6th at the Gwinnett Center in Atlanta, GA. The “Firework” singer will light up the stage at Boston’s TD Garden on June 18th before headlining the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ the following day.

California’s Santa Barbara Bowl will play host to Perry for two shows August 13th-14th to end the U.S. campaign. Other cities to welcome her in include Orlando, Tampa, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Denver, Dallas, Los Angeles and San Jose.

Perry will be touring to further promote her sophomore album Teenage Dream. After its release in August of 2010, Teenage Dream debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and sold 192,000 copies its first week in stores.
