Celtics to Host Struggling Magic

The Boston Celtics will be hosting the Orlando Magic tonight at the TD Garden. The Magic, who are coming off seven straight losses look to change their luck as the Celtics look to once again get their record to .500. Wednesday night’s points and rebounds leader, Paul Pierce will be relied on carrying a huge load on the offensive and defensive end. With the absence of Rondo the team will once again be Pierce’s to lead.

The Magic, who have been struggling this season with the departure of  star center Dwight Howard prior to the season, were struck another blow with the loss of former Celtic Glen Davis. It was learned late Wednesday night that Davis had broken his foot in the Magic’s 113-97 loss to the Knicks. This will also be a disappointment to Celtics fans. “Big Baby” was a fan favorite during his tenor in Boston where he was the teams entertaining sixth man.

Coverage for the 7pm game will be carried on Comcast Sports Network and WEEI.
