Boston’s TD Garden is set to welcome a handful of major acts through the week of February 22nd. John Mayer is set to take the stage this Wednesday, February 24th with Michael Franti and Spearhead.  The Black Eyed Peas are still riding high off their 2009 The E.N.D album featuring smash hits “Boom Boom Pow,” “I Gotta Feeling” and “Meet Me Halfway.” Ludacris and LMFAO will arrive downtown to open for the group Friday night.

Not only will the Garden play host to some of the top musical acts around. The Boston Celtics are scheduled to face the New York Knicks, marking the first of three home games on their schedule this week. At prices starting at $45, you can witness 3X dunk champion Nate Robinson take the floor in Celtics uniform to matchup against his former team. The contest will also showcase the return of Boston’s beloved Eddie House. LeBron James and the top seeded Cleveland Cavaliers will make their way to Boston on Thursday before the New Jersey Nets come in Saturday afternoon.

Saturday will also bring in the NLL’s Washington Stealth as they prepare to square off against the Boston Blazers at 7:30 PM. The National Lacrosse League displays some of the most intense competition between the short playing field and fast paced indoor atmosphere. Lower level seats start at just $37.

Looking to hear some great music in the Fenway area? The House of Blues in Boston is certainly the place for you with General Admission tickets priced at $65. The 2,500 capacity venue will play host to Umphrey’s McGee on Friday, February 26th. These pioneers of progressive rock are prepared to hit the Lansdowne area with Eric Krasno and Chapter 2. Guitar Legends of Rock and Blues will wrap the week at the HOB Sunday night. Talented musicians on the list include Jim Belushi, Joey Kramer & Brad Whitford (members of Aerosmith), Barry Goodreau (former member of the group Boston), Johnny A and the Uptown Horns, and James Montgomery Band featuring David Hull from the Joe Perry Project.

The Lion King will continue its stunning run all week at the Boston Opera House With tickets starting at $89. The musical is filled with unique puppets and masks, leaving the audience to put their imagination to the test. The production is also being put on at the Minskoff Theatre in New York City.
