With¬†uncertainty surrounding Curt Schilling’s shoulder the Boston Red Sox picked up a little insurance today. The Sox signed the 2005 Cy Young winner Bartolo Colon to a minor league deal. Times have certainly changed for Colon who settled for a minor league deal with no guaranteed money. If Colon pitches in the Majors he’ll receive a smll salary with bonus incentives. Bartolo Colon is coming off an injury plagued 2007 season with the Los Angeles Angels where he posted a career low 6.34 ERA.
