By on February 25, 2011 in

After declaring a one-year hiatus in the midst of their 2010 fall tour, Dave Matthews Band has decided to come back for a series of three-day festivals starting June 24th in various locations across the U.S. “2011 is our 20th anniversary as a band and we want to celebrate by playing music together,” the band said in a statement on the official DMB website. “While we are still taking the year off from touring, we have decided to plan four multi-day, multi-artist music events that will take place this summer.”

Specific locations for the upcoming ‘Caravan’ festivals have yet to be confirmed, but Matthews and crew have already narrowed down a general timeframe. The run will begin with a June 24-26 event in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic region, followed by a July 8-10 stop in the Midwest. The DMB website states that the third and fourth festivals will fall sometime in August and September. Check back for additional Dave Matthews Band tour updates!
