Tom Petty Announces 2010 Tour

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers just recently announced a string of 2010 U.S. tour dates in light of their new studio project “Mojo,” an album set for release later this spring. Petty and crew are scheduled to begin their nationwide journey on Thursday, May 6th at the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion in Raleigh, NC. They’ll be set to rock out at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA for two nights on Thursday, August 19th and Saturday, August 21st.

Special guests to meet up in various cities include My Morning Jacket, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Joe Cocker, ZZ Top and Drive-By Truckers. Petty and the Heartbreakers are best recognized through timeless hits “Don’t Come Around Here No More,” “Runnin Down a Dream,” “Free Fallin,” “Learning to Fly,” “Mary Jane’s Last Dance” and “You Don’t Know How It Feels.” Look for the longtime musicians to showcase some old favorites along with their highly anticipated new material.
