5x All-Pro receiver Randy Moss will likely be back in the NFL this season after impressing the New Orleans Saints during his workout with the organization on Tuesday. An NFL source told ProFootballTalk.com that Moss’ workout “couldn’t have gone better” and another stated that the 35-year old “looked like the old Randy.”
Moss was last seen in the NFL in 2010 as a member of the Tennessee Titans following a pair of loud exits from the New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings. Saints head coach Sean Payton is strict in regards to limiting off-field distractions. In this case he may feel as though Moss will return to the game on best behavior with hopes to end his career on a high note.
The future Hall of Fame wide-out has racked up 1,000 yards receiving in a season 10 times. His 153 touchdown receptions are tied with Terrell Owens for second on the all-time list. He’s fifth all-time in yards and ninth in receptions.
