Pearl Jam 2010 U.S. Tour

By on March 18, 2010 in

Following Eddie Vedder’s 2008 solo project, the Pearl Jam frontman is ready to reunite with his bandmates for a North American tour in 2010. The recently announced string of shows will feature songs from their ninth studio album Backspacer. Veteran guitarist Mike McCready is thrilled to display their updated style, describing the music as a “tight, concise, rock ‘n’ roll record with kind of pop or maybe new wave elements to it.”

Pearl Jam will make their decade debut at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival Saturday, May 1st. The XL Center in Hartford, CT will play host to the group May 15th before they travel to Boston’s TD Garden on the 17th. Pearl Jam members are recognized as some of the most influential rockers of the 1990’s. Through the past 20 years they have sold a total of 30 million records in the U.S. and sixty million worldwide.
