Paul McCartney to Once Again Play at Fenway

By on March 27, 2013 in ,

Paul McCartney will bring his “Out There!” tour to Boston’s historic Fenway Park on July 9th, his second time playing at the venue.

McCartney first played at the home of the Red Sox in 2009 with two stellar sold out shows. Last year Bruce Springsteen and Roger Waters rocked on the field of Fenway. The performances were by far the best things to happen all summer at the Park.

McCartney’s July date is in addition to two dates a piece from Jason Aldean and the joint tour of Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z. The country star will be performing July 11th and 12th, while the hip-hop and R&B duo will be performing on the 10th and 11th of August.

McCartney, who will be 71 years-old by the show, has earned 17 Grammy Awards including a Lifetime Achievement Award to go along with his 1999 induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
