Britney Spears to Launch North American Tour

Pop sensation Britney Spears recently confirmed her upcoming summer tour plans Tuesday morning on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” The 26-date run will open at the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, CA June 17th and close at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON August 13th.

Boston’s TD Garden is set to welcome her in August 8th three days after she appears at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ August 5th. The longtime singer-songwriter is also scheduled to arrive in cities that include Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Portland, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Orlando, Miami and Philadelphia.

Spears is working in support of her seventh studio project Femme Fatale. The album was just released on March 25th and features singles “Hold It Against Me” and “Till the World Ends.” “Hold It Against Me” has received heavy amounts of airplay on an international level, debuting at number one in the United States, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland and New Zealand.
