The current first place division leading Boston Celtics will play at home on Wednesday April 4 against the San Antonio Spurs and on Sunday April 8 against the Philadelphia 76ers. They have been on a tear as of late, winning five in a row. The Celtics had a strong win yesterday against the struggling Miami Heat, but have a couple of tough match-ups this week against the Bulls, Pacers, and 76ers.

It will be a fun week for Celtics fans as the team tries to extend their one-game lead in the Atlantic Division, then face the second-place Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday who will be looking to reclaim first place. Having lost to the 76ers the last time the two teams met just six games ago, the Celtics are in a good position this time around to build on their lead and solidify their spot as the best in the Atlantic Division.

2012 Northeast Division champion Boston Bruins play at home this week on Tuesday April 3 against the Pittsburgh Penguins and on Saturday April 7 for the last game of the regular season against the Buffalo Sabres. Having won five out of their last six games, the Bruins are in good position for the playoffs. With excitement building in anticipation of the postseason, the team will try to stay on track and build momentum that will propel them to success throughout the playoffs. The team is just as eager for a repeat performance for the Stanley Cup as the fans.

Comedian and actor Kevin Hart will perform his stand-up at the Wilbur Theatre for a run of shows from Thursday April 5 to Sunday April 8. Each night this weekend, Hart will do two shows, one earlier in the evening and one late-night. The comedian is best known for his stand-up routines where he pokes fun at celebrities and himself, especially his short stature. He has released three specials, two on Comedy Central and his latest, “Laugh At My Pain,” which was released in theaters in 2011 and is a frequent guest on Chelsea Lately as a roundtable comedian. Hart has also appeared on a number of TV shows and movies, including Modern Family, Scary Movie 3-5, and Little Fockers. Most recently, he was part of the 2012 NBA All-Star Weekend Celebrity Game in which he was named MVP and also ejected from the game.

The Big Apple Circus has come to Boston at the City Hall Plaza. The show will run from March 27-May 13. This week, there will be two shows on each day, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. Currently in its 34th season, The Big Apple Circus is performing its all-new “Dream Big!” show under the Big Top. Featured acts include a juggler, a mechanical doll, an assortment of animals from dogs to a porcupine, acrobats, trapeze artists, and of course clowns. The show is fun-filled for the entire family and promises that “no seat is more than 50 feet from the ring!”
