Starting on July 10 in New York, Aerosmith and Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash will hit the stage this summer on a 20 date tour titled “Let Rock Rule”. When will the dynamic duo hit the stage this summer you ask? Wednesday, July 16 at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA.
After the tour was announced, the band played an intimate show with dedicated fans and select media in Los Angeles at Whiskey a Go Go, and Slash also performed a few songs with the band. They played a six-song set and graced the stage for the first time at Whiskey a Go Go’s since December 4, 1978. The six hits that were played were “Draw the Line”, “Same Old Song and Dance”, “Pink”, “Walk This Way”, and with Slash they played “Mama Kin” and “Train Kept a Rollin'”.
Band members of Aerosmith are more than excited to bring Slash on tour with them this summer!
“Looking forward to inciting a riot and building the tribal bonfire even higher — it’s a win-win with Slash,” said Aerosmith front-man Steven Tyler.
Band-mate Joe Perry added, “The writing’s on the wall — Aerosmith and Slash. We’re gonna let rock rule this summer. Catch us if you can.”
