The Bruins will come home to the TD Garden on Saturday April 21 after heading to Washington for games 3-4. The series is tied 1-1, both games going into overtime. Boston and Washington have both played well. In the first game, the Bruins won 1-0 when center Chris Kelly scored in overtime. The next game, the Capitals scored in the second period from right wing Troy Brouwer. The Bruins followed with left wing Benoit Pouliot’s goal in the third to tie the game at one. The game went into second overtime until center Nicklas Backstrom scored against Tim Thomas. Him and Capitals goalie Braden Holtby have both been exceptional, keeping the game close and giving their teams a chance to win.

The Red Sox have one more game against the Tampa Bay Rays today at 11:05. They’ll start a two game series against the Rangers on Tuesday April 17 and Wednesday April 18. After an off day on Thursday, the Yankees will come into town to play three games Friday April 20, Saturday April 21, and Sunday April 22. The April 20 game will mark the official celebration of Fenway Park’s 100th Anniversary. The Sox have been playing great during their home stand, and are one win away from a sweep against the Rays. So far on the young season, they are 4-5, much better than their start in 2011. The offense has been hot and the pitching is keeping them in the game. Let’s hope they continue to win and build momentum to kick off the season strong.

The TD Garden will play host to the Celtics and Orlando Magic game on Wednesday April 18. The team has won two in a row against the New Jersey Nets and Charlotte Bobcats, and have won six out of their last seven games, including big wins against division rivals the Philadelphia 76ers and the Miami Heat. The Celtics will go to New York for a game against the Knicks on Tuesday April 17 and have five games left on the regular season, three of them home games. On the season, they are first in the Atlantic Division with a 36-25 record and have built a four game lead with their strong play. They’ll look to continue their dominance as the season comes to a close and get ready to compete in the playoffs.

Fun. comes to the House of Blues this week on April 21. The American indie pop band released their second album, Some Nights, in February and have been touring the country. They’ll play at Lollapalooza this year as well as shows in Canada and in London. Fun. is best known for their hit single, “We Are Young,” which has reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Digital Songs charts. The three member band of Nate Ruess, Andrew Dost, and Jack Antonoff, have been rising in popularity since their 2008 debut and will be sure to put on a “fun” show.
