Sox Sweep Orioles With Win on Patriots Day

Justin Masterson pitched 5 innings for the Sox, giving up only 1 run on 4 hits as Boston went on to dominate the Baltimore Orioles 12-1 yesterday at Fenway Park.  Jacoby Ellsbury and Dustin Pedroia led the charge for the offense with 3 and 4 hits, combining for 4 RBI’s.  David Ortiz also contributed with two hits including a triple in the bottom of the 6th to drive home 2 runs.

“We swung the bats really well the whole series,” said Pedroia.”It was huge for us. Some guys struggled the first couple of games, but through the course of the year, you find that rhythm. You just have to have good at-bats and continue to see the ball. That’s the big thing.”

Hopefully the Sox continue their steak as they head to Minnesota to face the Twins tonight for one of two games before hosting the New York Yankees this weekend.   Boston Red Sox Tickets are now available with us at
