The Boston Celtics will look to close out their first-round series against the Atlanta Hawks following last night’s 101-76 win at TD Garden. The Hawks had the early advantage in this round due to a Game 1 victory and Rajon Rondo’s Game 2 suspension. The C’s have since played inspired basketball, now holding a 3-1 series lead with Game 5 set for Tuesday night at Philips Arena. The series would then shift back to Boston for Game 6 to be played this Thursday if necessary.

The Boston Red Sox are in desperate need of a W, most recently falling to the Baltimore Orioles in 17 innings yesterday with outfielder Darnell McDonald pitching in the end. Boston lost five in a row but will face a struggling Kansas City Royals team this week for three games at Kauffman Stadium. The Royals are currently 4th in the AL Central with a 9-18 record. The Sox will return to Fenway Park later in the week to host the Cleveland Indians for four games from Thursday – Sunday.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers will grace the stage at TD Garden tonight. They are now on the road in promotion of their tenth studio album I’m With You. Following its release in August of 2011, the album debuted at number one in eighteen different countries while reaching number two in the United States and Canada.

The Cranberries will be at the Boston House of Blues this Friday. The Irish rockers recently released their latest studio album Roses, their first project since 2001’s Wake Up and Smell The Coffee. Keep checking back for annual Boston event updates.
