Aziz Ansari to Play Wilbur Theatre in July

Actor-comedian Aziz Ansari is officially set to begin his Dangerously Delicious Tour June 10th at the Charleston Music Hall in South Carolina. He’s planning to perform standup for 30 shows in 19 different venues with his run concluding September 18th at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, GA. Boston’s Wilbur Theatre will welcome in the 27-year old for two shows on July 18th. Other cities to host Ansari are Manchester, Chicago, Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Philadelphia, New York City, and Washington DC.

Ansari began his standup career at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Chelsea, NY. In 2006 he won the Jury Award for “Best Standup” at HBO’s annual U.S Comedy Arts Festival. Aziz is highly recognized for his work on the big screen to go along with his talents live on stage. He’s played roles in major movies “School for Scoundrels,” “The Rocker,” “Funny People,” “Observe and Report” and “I Love You Man.” Notable television shows he has taken part in include “Reno 911,” “Scrubs” and “Flight of the Conchords.”¬† Don’t miss your chance to witness Aziz Ansari live!
