Kevin Garnett netted 12-of-17 from the floor for 27 points while collecting 13 rebounds during Boston’s 107-91 Game 3 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers last night at Wells Fargo Center. After a disappointing Game 2 loss at TD Garden Monday night, the Celtics were able to regroup and take back home court advantage in convincing fashion.
“He got the ball in his spots,” said Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo of KG’s monster performance. “He hit a couple of fadeaways. A lot of those guys are smaller than him, so he was just able to turn around and shoot over them.”
Rondo controlled the tempo with 23 points and 14 assists. Paul Pierce silenced all criticism in regards to playing a step slow with a knee injury, contributing 24 points and 12 rebounds during his 36 minutes on the court.
