LeBron James netted 35 points and Chris Bosh added 22 en route to a 101-93 Miami Heat victory over the Chicago Bulls Tuesday at American Airlines Arena. Miami’s Big 3 took over down the stretch to win decisively in overtime, positioning themselves just five wins away from attaining the ultimate goal of an NBA title. James not only led his squad on the offensive end, but also held Chicago point-guard and league MVP Derrick Rose to hit 8-of-27 from the field with seven turnovers.
“It’s one game away. We’re not taking anything for granted,” said James. “We know offensively, at times, we have rough stretches. But we give ourselves chances to win every game because we defend.” Rose scored 23 points in total while Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng followed up with 20 apiece for Chicago. Game 6 is scheduled for this Thursday at the United Center.
