Dwayne Wade produced 29 points and 11 rebounds to lead his Miami Heat past the Dallas Mavericks 88-86 in Game 3 of the NBA Finals Sunday night at American Airlines Center.  Chris Bosh netted the go-ahead 16-foot baseline jumper with 39.6 seconds remaining and Udonis Haslem locked up Dirk Nowitzki on the other end for Miami to solidify the victory. “This is a total win,” said Wade. “You want to win the game on the defensive end of the floor and we got a stop.”

Nowitzki scored 15 of his game-high 34 points in the final block for the Mavs. “We have to have somebody step up besides Dirk,” said Dallas PG Jason Kidd after contributing nine points and 10 assists. “We have to figure out how to get up front and play up front. The big thing is we’ve got to be able to make plays late in the game. Game 2 we made the plays, Game 3 we just didn’t.” Jason Terry and Shawn Marion were the only other Mavericks to reach double-digit numbers in scoring. Bosh finished with 18 points for Miami and LeBron James followed up with 17 points and nine assists. Mario Chalmers came off the bench for 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting beyond the arc.
