Aerosmith is set to rock out at Boston’s TD Garden with Cheap Trick July 17th and 19th as part of their 2012 “Global Warming Tour.” Back in May the band debuted their new single “Legendary Child” on the season finale of American Idol. Their upcoming fifteenth studio album Music From Another Dimension! will drop in stores this fall. The veteran rockers last played in their hometown with J. Geils Band at Fenway Park in 2010.

The Boston Red Sox will return home after winning 2-of-3 over their Division rival Tampa Bay Rays, next scheduled to welcome Kevin Youkilis and the Chicago White Sox to Fenway for four games starting tonight at 7:10 PM. Youkilis hasn’t been back in Boston since being dealt to the White Sox in late June. The eight-year veteran is batting .295 with 15 RBI’s in 16 games with his new team. He recently wrote to Sox fans to acknowledge their support over the years, referring to Red Sox Nation as “the most dedicated and knowledgeable fans in baseball.”

Legendary guitarist Santana is back on tour in promotion of his 22nd studio project Shape Shifter. Santana has twenty concerts booked across the U.S. this summer before settling down to play several shows at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. He will arrive at Boston’s Bank of America Pavilion July 17th.

The Vans Warped Tour will be making it’s way to the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA July 19th. The tour annually features a number of both established and up and coming musicians. Bands on this year’s bill include Pierce The Veil, Of Mice And Men, Breathe Carolina, All Time Low, New Found Glory, The Used and Yellowcard.
