Jason Aldean Extends Summer Calender

While traveling the nation all summer long for a series of performances at festivals and special events, country star Jason Aldean decided he just wasn’t ready to call it quits yet. That’s why come September, Alden will stay on the road for his own headline run of the nation’s arenas. The next leg of Aldean’s Wide Open Tour is scheduled to kick off September 10th at the Expo Center in Corbin, KY, and runs through a November 20th show in Duluth, GA.

The 25-date tour will feature guest opening appearances from Luke Bryan and Uncle Kracker throughout the fall. After selling two million copies of his first two albums, topping the charts with five smash hits, racking up award nominations and hitting every stop on the “new artist” tour circuit for the last three years, country rocker Jason Aldean has been running full throttle since the release of his highly anticipated third album Wide Open in April.

An earlier leg of the Wide Open Tour fared well throughout the US, selling out in 39 cities. “We’ve had such a great year with some really big songs and our first big arena tour, and I’m just not ready to move on from it quite yet,” Aldean said regarding the extension of his tour. Jason Aldean’s summer run continues July 16 with an appearance at the Craven Country Jamboree in Crave in Canada. The current itinerary features more than 20 performances, and takes a brief break after an August 29 event at CMAC in Canandaigua, NY before picking up the pace again through November.
