Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band will be playing two shows at Fenway Park this Tuesday and Wednesday before rocking out at Gillette Stadium Saturday night. The Boss is touring in further promotion of his 17th studio album Wrecking Ball, which debuted at No. 1 in 16 different countries following its release back in March. The band is prepared to showcase singles from the new album such as “We Take Care of Our Own” and “Rocky Ground” in addition to classic fan favorites.
The Comcast Center is scheduled to welcome the Doobie Brothers and Chicago on Thursday. The legendary rock bands toured together previously in 2010. This leg of concerts will continue along the east coast, coming to a close August 25th at the Meadowbrook US Cellular Pavilion in Gilford, NH.
The seventh annual Futures at Fenway Minor League showcase is set for this Saturday. The doubleheader will feature the Red Sox A affiliate Lowell Spinners vs. the Hudson Valley Renegades (from the Tampa Bay Rays) and the AAA Pawtucket Red Sox vs. the Buffalo Bisons (from the New York Mets). The event is filled with activities that include autograph sessions, mascot races and various on-field experiences. This is a great time to take in some of the best views in Fenway between the Right Field Roof Deck, Dugout Seats, EMC Club, State Street Pavilion and Green Monster Seats.
