The New England Patriots were not too far behind. As the second most valuable team in the league, the Robert Kraft’s team is worth $1.8 billion. Their net operating income for 2012 was $139.2 million.
According to the article, the average NFL franchise is worth $1.17 billion, which is more than the average in the MLB, NBA, and NHL.
Other teams in the top 10 include the Washington Redskins (No. 3, $1.7 billion), New York Jets (No. 6, $1.38 billion), and Chicago Bears (No. 8, $1.25 billion).
