Patriots host the Eagles Thursday Night

For the first time since Super Bowl LII the New England Patriots will battle the Philadelphia Eagles. Needless to say that this match-up is far less relevant as they’ll be playing their 2nd pre-season game of the 2018 NFL season. In any event it should still be entertaining to see these two NFL heavyweights face off as they prep their rosters for the start of the regular season.

The Patriots looked good in their first pre-season game of the year, besting the Redskins 26-17 in a game where Tom Brady did not play. The Eagles opened their pre-season with a 31-14 loss against the Steelers.

It will be interesting to watch for any interaction between Patriots QB Tom Brady and Eagles QB Nick Foles. Brady famously snubbed Foles at the conclusion of Super Bowl LII after the Eagles beat the Patriots. Brady skipped the handshakes and headed for the locker room. For his part Foles doesn’t harbor any resentment about incident and isn’t making a big deal of it: “It will happen when it happens. We practiced with the Patriots several years ago, and I got to stand there and talk to Tom for quite a bit. He’s a great guy. I have all the respect in the world for him,” said Foles.

Its not too late to grab Patriots tickets for this game or any 2018 Patriots game at Ace Ticket.
