Synthpop band Duran Duran are scheduled to make their highly-anticipated comeback with 14 concert dates so far confirmed for this September and October. The Grammy Award-winning rockers were previously forced to cancel a series of spring and summer tour dates due to frontman Simon Le Bon’s debilitating vocal troubles. Through YouTube videos and Facebook-Twitter announcements, the band has revealed most North American tour dates, kicking off at the Comcast Arena in Everett, WA Friday, September 23rd.
Duran Duran will be touring in light of their 13th full-length studio album All You Need Is Now. The project first hit stores on Monday, March 21st in Europe, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the band’s first release. The string of shows will stop at venues in Portland, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Diego, Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto and Atlantic City. Their most recent confirmed show will take place at Boston’s Citi Performing Arts Center – Wang Theatre Friday, October 28th.
