The Brothers of The Sun Tour Will Help Ring In Summers Close

Kenny Chesney, the country singer whose known for his massive amount of country no.1’s just as much as he is for not wearing a shirt. Tim McGraw, another country superstar whose married to a country superstar (the lovely Faith Hill) is also know for his string of hits as well as his leather pants. Together they are bringing the Brothers of the Sun Tour to Gillette Stadium this Friday and Saturday. An all day event that some fans refer to as Country Fest, this year will feature openers Jake Owen and rock band Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, the latter whose lead singer collaborated with Kenny Chesney on the hit “You and Tequila”.The event goes on all day with fans setting up shop to hang out, grill, toss back some cold ones or even mix up a little margarita. And whether your a fan of country music or just a fan of the party there’s sure to be some fun.

Kenny Chesney’s career has been going strong for 20 years. He’s had numerous songs go number 1 and be placed in the top ten. He released his thirteenth studio album Welcome To The Fishbowl in June, which features co-headliner Tim McGraw on the lead single “Feel Like a Rock Star”. And speaking of Tim McGraw, he is currently ranked the eighth best-selling artist and third best-selling country music artist. Another artists who’s been performing for 20 years, McGraw and Chesney used to collaborate back when Chesney was a just a songwriter.

Reviews of the show predict a good time and lots of music with Chesney’s set clocking in at 2 hours! Also expect to see some stage sharing between McGraw and Chesney. A review of their show in Tampa had Chesney closing the show with all the performers on stage singing Jackson Browne’s “Running on Empty”. Either way your sure to have some fun in the sun and maybe even make a few new friends.
