We are only two weeks away from the 2010 NFL regular season and teams couldn’t be more anxious to begin. The initial pre-season contests have been full of excitement between the hard hits, touchdown passes and breakaway runs. A number of young stars have made the most of their opportunities on the field as the veterans start to rest up for September. Longtime QB Brett Favre made his debut in Minnesota after a long period of indecision this past summer. Buffalo Bills 34, Indianapolis Colts 21 – Terrence McGee produced a 78 yard interception return as the Bills went on to post 34 points in their victory over the AFC Champion Colts.
New England Patriots 28, Atlanta Falcons 10 – The Pats posted a touchdown in all four quarters while holding the Falcons to just 10 points to win on the road.

Pittsburgh Steelers 24, New York Giants 17 – Byron Leftwich and Dennis Dixon combined for 10 completions for 177 yards in the midst of three touchdown drives in the second and third quarters.
Baltimore Ravens 23, Washington Redskins 3 – Donovan McNabb threw for 206 yards despite the offense falling victim in the red zone to the Baltimore defense.
St Louis Rams 29, Cleveland Browns 17 – Josh Brows split two through the uprights in the fourth block for St Louis to solidify the W.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20, Kansas City Chiefs 15 – Terrence Nunn caught the go-ahead TD to give the Bucs their first preseason win.
Miami Dolphins 27, Jacksonville Jaguars 26 – The Jaguars pulled within one in the fourth but Miami was able to run out the clock from there.
New Orleans Saints 38, Houston Texans 20 – New Orleans scored four TDs in the first half courtesy of backup QB Chase Daniel’s 15 completions for 182 yards.
New York Jets 9, Carolina Panthers 3 – Nick Folk’s three field goals were enough for New York to harness the struggling Panthers.
Oakland Raiders 32, Chicago Bears 17 – Slade Norris recovered a fumble for six early on in the third quarter and the Raiders never looked back from there.
Detroit Lions 25, Denver Broncos 20 – Drew Stanton took off for 25 yards and the go-ahead touchdown with 1:53 left in regulation to gain the hard fought win in Denver.
Dallas Cowboys 16, San Diego Chargers 14 – Victor Butler collected two points after bringing down Ryan Otterson for the safety to give Dallas their second preseason victory.
Green Bay Packers 27, Seattle Seahawks 24 – Aaron Rodgers completed 8-of-11 for 116 yards and two TD’s.

San Francisco 49ers 15, Minnesota Vikings 10 – Brett Favre lasted four players as the 49ers went on to edge Minnesota at Candlestick Park.
