MLB 2011 American League Playoff Schedule

The New York Yankees currently rank on top in the AL East with a commanding four-game lead over the Boston Red Sox at 90-58. The 86-62 Sox still have 12 games left on the schedule to catch their longtime rivals before the start of the 2011 post-season. The Detroit Tigers have locked up the AL Central at 87-62. The Texas Rangers control the AL West at 85-54 with the LA Angels trailing just three games behind.

The American League Divisional games will kick-off Friday, September 30th. The Yankees, Tigers and Rangers should finish out atop their respective divisions with the Red Sox, Angels and Rays battling for the Wild Card spot.
