MLB 2011 National League Playoff Schedule

The NL East leading Philadelphia Phillies became the first team to clinch a playoff berth following yesterday’s 6-4 victory over the Houston Astros yesterday at Minute Maid Park. The 95-51 club has been stellar all season behind the lethal rotation that features Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee, Roy Oswalt and Cole Hamels. The Milwaukee Brewers and Arizona Diamondbacks hold 87 wins each and will look to stay atop their respective divisions. The Atlanta Braves are the frontrunners to gain the Wild Card.

National League post-season contests will start up Sunday, October 1st. The National League Championship Series is scheduled between Saturday, October 8th and Sunday, October 16th with the World Series set to begin Wednesday, October 19th. View the complete National League playoff schedule below!
