Holiday Pops Return to Symphony Hall

Conductor Keith Lockhart and the Holiday Pops are scheduled to perform a string of concerts at Boston Symphony Hall starting Wednesday, December 8th. The Christmas spectacular will be featured at the venue for 36 shows, the last performance to be held on Sunday, December 26th. 

The Boston Pops are recognized as one of the most talented symphony orchestras in the world. Founded in 1885, the Pops have grown to showcase both traditional and popular music. Over the years Lockhart has brought in a number of modern acts to play with the orchestra that include Ben Folds, Rockapella, Guster, My Morning Jacket, Aimee Mann and Elvis Costello.
