World famous comedian and actor Jerry Seinfeld is back on tour and back with a new show, well kind of. With the revolution of the internet age, Seinfeld has begun to use that to his advantage. His new internet series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, consists of Jerry Seinfeld driving in a vintage car, picking up a fellow comedian/friend and getting lunch/coffee together. What’s great about this series, which has featured guests like Larry David, Alec Baldwin, Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks, is the realness of the interactions between the two. The organic nature of humor that comes out of these two people coming together feels like you have a secret window into another world. Find yourself laughing along as they share stories of past moments working together or how they first got started in the business. Each scene will have you wanting more and re-watching them over again just to catch the small interactions you may have missed.
Earning large amounts of success with the hit comedy show, Seinfeld, most people would think that you would never have to work again after that. Seinfeld took a break but, made his first foray back into entertainment with the 2007 film, Bee Movie, which he wrote, produced and starred in. He also directed fellow comedian Colin Quinn’s Broadway show, Long Story Short, which played at the Helen Hayes Theater in NY.
Now back on tour he’s got a string of dates lined up for performances, most of them being in his home state of New York but, lucky enough he’s making a stop at Boston’s Wang Theatre on November 17th and we’ve got some of the best seats in the house right here!
