P!nk Comes To The Garden To Tell Us The Truth About Love

On the heels of releasing her sixth studio album, pop sensation P!nk has officially announced her The Truth About Love Tour, which will make it’s way to the TD Garden in March of 2013. The singer is no stranger to success, becoming a pop phenom when her second album Missundaztood , broke the top ten with four singles, two of those being “Don’t Let Me Get Me” and “Family Portrait”. She had continued success with her follow up albums including winning numerous MTV Video Music Awards and Grammy nominations. Albums like I’m Not Dead and Funhouse not only charted even more singles but also brought along headlining tours resulting in elaborate stage shows. Her song “So What” became her first single to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

Besides ruling the charts, P!nk has both worked with and been featured on songs by many artists. The first of these collaborations was her singing on the track “Lady Marmalade” for the Moulin Rouge! soundtrack. Alongside other superstars like Christina Aguleria, Mya, and Lil’ Kim the song was a smash and put P!nk on the map permanently. She later went on to work with musicians such as Linda Perry, Beck, Tim Armstrong of Rancid, Eminem, Herbie Hancock and others. She was given a solo spot on the remake of the 1985 Aids charity song “We Are The World”, an opportunity not to be scoffed at. Now she has just released her newest album The Truth About Love, sporting the single “Blow Me (One Last Kiss) the album debuted at number one not only in the U.S. but in other countries such as Australia, Canada and Germany.

Her last few tours involved big stage productions and even some acrobatics performed on P!nk’s part. Who knows what this latest tour will bring.
