English rock band Muse announced the first set of dates for their upcoming 2013 headlining tour. Beginning February 3 in Edmonon, Alberta, the tour will hit locations all over the US and Canada before tentatively wrapping up in Quebec City on April 26.
The tour will be in support of the band’s sixth studio album, The 2nd Law which released on October 2. The current single, “Madness” has reached No. 1 on the US Billboard Alternative Songs chart already. The new album is a follow-up to 2009’s The Resistance and was heavily inspired by electronic music. It also features the band’s newfound interest in dubstep.
