Paul Pierce dropped 15 points before sitting out the entire fourth quarter as the Celtics went on to dominate the Charlotte Bobcats 92-59 last night in Boston. Now 2-0 and well rested after winning over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday, the C’s have proved to be at the top of their game heading into early November.  “It’s great we could rest our bodies,” said Pierce.”The more rest, the better. That means we’re playing well, especially the starters.”

Ray Allen netted a game-high 18 points from his 38 minutes played.  Rajon Rondo racked up another double-double with 10 points and 11 assists.  Gerald Wallace led Charlotte with just 10 during in their dismal 59 point effort. “I don’t know if they call that coaching,” said hall of fame head coach Larry Brown. “Our team wasn’t prepared. Weren’t ready to play. That’s nobody’s fault but the coach.”

The Celtics are now 2-0 heading into their next contest against the Chicago Bulls this Friday at the TD Garden.  Boston Celtics tickets are now available!
