Country music sensation Taylor Swift announced this past week that her 2013 RED Tour will kick off on March 13 in Omaha, Nebraska. With an already scheduled 58 shows for 45 cities in 29 states, we expect more will follow.
“I didn’t think I could be any more excited about my RED album, but then I start thinking about how I’m going to put the new show together for The RED Tour,” Swift wrote on her website. “I have so many ideas about how to really bring this music to life, and I can’t wait to share the new show with all my fans!”
The announcement was made on ABC News’ “All Access Nashville with Katie Couric- A Special Edition of 20/20.” It concludes a big week for Swift whose just released album sold 1.21 million copies in the first week of sales and is placed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 national album chart.
Taylor Swift set the bar high on her Speak Now Tour which was one of the best-selling tours of the year. Next year’s tour is expected to be even bigger. Her special guest is her collaborator Ed Sheeran. The British singer-songwriter performs duets with Swift on the “RED” track “Everything Has Changed.”
The RED Tour will hit Gillette Stadium in Foxboro on Saturday, July 27 for one night only. Be sure to get your Taylor Swift Gillette Stadium Tickets with Ace!
