Bon Jovi Announces 2013 Tour

Bon Jovi has announced they will embark on their upcoming Because We Can Tour on February 13 in Montreal, QC. They will host several performances in Canada before the tour continues overseas in South Africa and Europe.

Currently, Bon Jovi has announced eight performance dates on the Canadian leg of the tour then will go overseas. The U.S. dates have not been announced as of yet but several stops are anticipated. The first stop overseas will be in Cape Town, South Africa then will be followed by a stop in Johannesburg, South Africa and then up to Europe for dates in Poland, Ireland, Czech Republic, Italy, Germany and more.

Bon Jovi have played shows worldwide at over 500 different stadiums since the year 2000. They have sold nearly 13 million tickets with a total revenue just under $1 billion. Their last tour in 2011, Circle, earned $365 million. In 2008 and 2010 Bon Jovi finished as the “highest grossing tour of the year” on the Billboard charts.

In addition to their upcoming tour, Bon Jovi will also release a new album entitled “What About Now” in the spring. Songs from this album will be featured on the tour in addition to crowd favorites such as “Living On A Prayer” and “Bad Medicine.” The dates for the U.S. leg of the tour are expected to be released within the next couple of weeks.
