Just months after his Brothers of the Sun Tour with Tim McGraw ended, Kenny Chesney has decided to come back on the road again. His upcoming 2013 No Shoes Nation Tour is all about his fans.
“We’ve been looking for ways to give my fan base a name,” Chesney explained. “Everybody has built No Shoes Nation. We’ve created something so special- the fans, myself, the band, crew… Their love for the music is constant; they are so passionate about the music. What we’ve all built together is the No Shoes Nation. There is no better name for this tour.”
The trek will hit nearly 50 cities starting in march and will include some serious talent. Both Eric Church and Eli Young Band have already confirmed they will be headed out on the tour to open for Chesney. Zac Brown Band and Kacey Musgraves will also be included on select dates.
The tour will be sponsored by Corona Light and will stop first at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL on March 16. There will then be a break until May 4 when it will resume and have a show nearly every weekend through late August. As of right now, Foxboro, MA will be Chesney’s last stop on August 24.
