A tired Boston Celtics team was able to fight off a late Bucks rally to finish with the win in overtime last night in Milwaukee. The win put the Celtics at 9-2 on the year while the Bucks dropped to 5-6. The Celtics were playing their 8th game in 12 days and at times looked like they could use a rest. Boston will get two days to rest before facing the Knicks on Tuesday 11/18 at the TD Banknorth Garden.
The Celtics held a strong 50-38 lead going into the third period and looked poised to cruise to the win. The Bucks however would erase Boston’s 12 point lead in the 4th quarter to force OT. The Celtics had the edge in the end, winning 102-97 thanks in large part to Paul Pierce’s 28 points.
Celtics tickets are available for all games including Tuesday night’s matchup with the New York Knicks.
