November 19- Of Monsters and Men– Iceland’s indie/folk band, Of Monsters and Men will be coming to the Orpheum Theatre. The performance will feature hits off their latest album, My Head Is an Animal, such as hit single “Little Talks.” The album debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and has topped the charts in Iceland, Ireland, Germany, Canada and America. Soley and Elle King will serve as opening acts for the show.
November 23 & 24- Ray LaMontagne– As part of his fall solo acoustic tour, Ray LaMontagne will be stopping in Boston for “An Evening with Ray LaMontagne.” The show is sure to feature songs off of his 2010 album, God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise. The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 and No. 1 on the Digital Album chart.
January 20- Soundgarden– The rock band, Soundgarden, released their first album in sixteen years, King Animal, on November 12. The album features tracks like “Blood on the Valley Floor,” “A Thousand Days Before,” and “Worse Dreams.” The band announced the same day that they would be hitting the road again on a North American tour. They will stop at the Orpheum Theatre for a night of grunge, metal and alternative rock.
February 1- Fun.– The three-member indie pop band, Fun., will hit the stage with high energy and fun for everyone at the Orpheum Theatre. After their hit single, “We Are Young,” made a name for them in the music industry, Fun. hasn’t slowed down. $1 of each ticket sold will be donated to benefit The Ally Coalition Fund, a non-profit group raising awareness and funds for LGBTQ equality.
