Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be touring again in 2012 for the first time in three years. The news follows the June death of E Street saxophonist Clarence Clemons, which dealt a heavy blow to the music community and left fans curious about the band’s future. A statement on Springsteen’s official website reads: “A lot of you have been hearing that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be on tour in 2012. That is absolutely correct.”
So far just four shows in England have been announced, set to kick off at the Stadium of Light Thursday, June 21st. Additional dates are expected to be announced at the turn of the new year. The statement on the website also mentions their plans to release a new album in 2012. Check back for more Bruce Springsteen tour updates!
