Patriots vs. Dolphins Preview

By on November 29, 2012 in

The New England Patriots will claim the AFC East crown on Sunday if they can manage to beat the Dolphins in Miami. Tom Brady said it well, “This is a championship game.”

“It assures you a home playoff game,” Brady continued. “That’s goal number one. That’s what we can accomplish this week. We always talk about championship games. They (the Dolphins) won a big game against Seattle, a team we lost to. It’s a team we always have a tough time with down in Florida. They’re athletic. They can rush the quarterback. Cameron Wake is one of the best players we’ll play all season.”

The Dolphins may be able to squeak into the playoffs, but only if they win to the Patriots this week. They will have to find a way to slow down one of the most well-rounded teams in the league. The Patriots not only have a good run game, they also have an effective passing attack and their defense has been steadily improving.

“I hope I’m getting better and better and making more improvements,” Brady noted. “I think that’s what our coaches expect of myself, and that’s what they expect from every player, is to keep getting better. There’s certainly no reason why you shouldn’t. You should make your improvements. You should learn from your mistakes. I think our team has done a really good job of that.”

Hopefully these improvements show on Sunday’s match up against the Dolphins. Grab your tickets here with Ace!
