Tame Impala To Play At House Of Blues

Australian psychedelic rock group, Tame Impala, will return stateside next February and March in support of their latest album, Lonerism. The tour ticks of at New York City’s Terminal 5 on February 19th and concludes March 12 at Boston’s House of Blues.

Lonerism is Tame Impala’s second album and includes current single “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards.” Released in October 2012, the album won the 2012 J Award in November for Australian Album of the Year. It also debuted at No. 4 on the ARIA chart and at No. 34 on the US Billboard 200 chart.

Band leader, Kevin Parker, stated that the album “represents a departure from his previous work by incorporating an expanded sonic palette, more emotional song writing, and a more pronounced narrative perspective.”
