December Concerts At The Wilbur Theatre

Clay Aiken- Sunday 12/9- Since gaining national attention on the 2003 season of American Idol, Clay Aiken has evolved into a beloved entertainer. He has released five albums and toured nine times. He will grace The Wilbur Theatre on the 9th performing his Christmas favorites, “Mary Did You Know” and “What Are You Doing on New Year’s Eve.”

Under The Streetlamp- Wednesday 12/12- The hot new vocal group will the at the Wilbur Theatre to deliver an electrifying evening of classic hits from the American Radio Songbook. The quartet is composed of the most recent leading cast members of Jersey Boys to wow you with slick dance moves and incredible voices to the classic Doo-Wop, Motown and old time Rock n’ Roll Hits from The Beatles, The Beach Boys and many more.

Amy Schumer- Saturday 12/15- Amy Schumer will bring her stand-up show to Boston for a full night of laughs. Since placing forth on the fifth season of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” Amy has gained wide recognition. This year she also emerged as an actress appearing in “Price Check,” “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World,” and “Sleepwalk with Me.”

Kenny G- Sunday 12/16- The world’s most renowned soprano saxophonist will be coming to the Wilbur Theatre to perform his time-honored Christmas songs. His favorites include “Do You Hear What I Hear,” “God Rest Ye,” “Merry Gentlemen,” and the opening medley “Deck the Halls/Twelve Days of Christmas.”

Rob Schneider- Saturday 12/29- After almost a twenty-year break, Schneider just recently made his return to stand-up comedy. The Emmy-nominated actor went on an international comedy tour extending through 2012. He recently released his first comedy album as well, “Registered Offender.” In September he released “The Chosen One,” a drama he both directed and co-wrote.
