R Kelly’s newest project “Untitled” as of today can be purchased in record stores all over the U.S! The longtime R&B singer songwriter-produced most of the music himself through Jive Records and Sony Music. The leading single “Number One” featuring Keri Hilson was previously released in July. Kelly was supposed to release an album in 2008 under the name “12 Play, 4th Quarter.” The project was leaked well before the scheduled release date, motivating Kelly to come up with completely new material.
Since joining Jive Records in 1991, R Kelly has now released a total of nine studio albums. He is best known for his classic singles “Bump n’ Grind,” “I Believe I Can Fly,” “Ignition,” and “If I Could Turn Back the Hands of Time.” He has produced for a long list of artists that include Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Toni Braxton, Mary J. Blige, Celine Dion, 112, Britney Spears, and Whitney Houston (to name a few). R Kelly will be wrapping up his 2009 tour at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in St Louis, MO on December 8th. Expect the talented artist to schedule more dates in 2010! Listen to the new album right here with us at Ace!
