Entertainment Weekly compiled their annual list of top entertainers, ranking country music phenom Taylor Swift at #1 over the number of acts 2010 had to offer. Swift earned Entertainer of the Year with her chart-topping third album “Speak Now,” which sold over 1,047,000 units in its first week in stores. She also launched her acting career with the heavily casted blockbuster smash “Valentine’s Day.” Other celebrities to make the list were Jon Hamm, Ben Affleck, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Kanye West and James Franco.
Swift is currently preparing for her upcoming 19-country ‘Speak Now World Tour’ that will kick off in the Asia-Pacific region in February before moving to Europe in the following weeks. She will begin her North American run in Omaha, NE on Friday, May 27th. Gillette Stadium will play host to her for the second time on Saturday, June 25th.
