Patriots at 13-0. Jets Up Next.

By on December 10, 2007 in

After 2 games where the Patriots looked beatable, Brady and company were able to shut down the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, beating them 34-13. Know one was more upset or embarrassed then the Steelers’ Anthony Smith. Smith had virtually guaranteed a Steelers victory in the days leading up to the game but it was Smith who was burned by Brady on two scoring drives.

The New England Patriots are now only the 5th team in history to go to 13-0. If the Patriots are to go undefeated in the regular season they need to get past 3 more opponents. First up are the rival New York Jets. The Jets come to Gillette Stadium on 12/16 to play the Patriots for the first time since the “Spygate” scandal. This game has all the makings of a blowout for the Pats. There is no love lost between Patriots coach Belichick and his former protege Mangini, so look for the Pats to run up the score.
