The “Book of Mormon” will be coming to the Boston Opera House from April 9-28, 2013. The musical combines the written, lyrical and musical talents of South Park and Avenue Q creators, Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone.

The show has been nominated for fourteen Tony Awards, winning nine including Best Musical, Best Original Score, and Best Direction of a Musical. The Original Broadway Cast Recording was the highest-rated Broadway album in over forty years and topped the Billboard Charts at No. 3.

The satirical show centers on two Mormon missionaries, Elder Kevin Price and Elder Cunningham, who are sent to Uganda to convince people to convert to Mormonism. The dangerous situations they encounter are faced with both ignorance and optimism as they travel door-to-door to teach the “Book of Mormon.” Featured songs in the show include, “You and Me,” “I Am Here for You,” “I am Africa,” and “Tomorrow Is A Latter Day.”

The “Book of Mormon” has been nearly an impossible ticket on Broadway for the past year. Be sure to get your tickets here with Ace while they last!
