The Black Keys just recently revealed a string of North American concert dates in support of their seventh studio album El Camino. The new project debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, selling 206,000 copies in its first week to become the highest charting position the group has ever reached in the U.S.
Rolling Stone ranked El Camino as the 12th-best album of 2011 in its end-of-year list. Claire Suddath of Time magazine also placed the album among the 10 best of 2011.
The 16- date run will begin at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, OH and conclude at the Bojangles Arena in Charlotte, NC March 24th. Other stops along the way include Boston, Detroit, Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago and Cleveland. The blues-rock duo will be joined by Arctic Monkeys on tour.
